My small online shop based at WordPress, the X Theme and Woocommerce offers visitors three languages, English, German and Dutch. I use for that the Multilingual Press plugin. Now, if a customer clicks in the menu at “My Account”, this text appears:
From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses, and edit your password and account details.
For the English section that is fine, but the same English text also appears at the German and Dutch sections.
A webmaster told me, it could be my Theme that controls these translations, also because at my site there is only the default woocommerce.pot file, not a German and Dutch one.
If that is correct, where can I put the two translations of that sentence?
I neither did find it in the Loco Translate plugin or in my X theme.
There is only the woocommerce.pot file, not a German and Dutch one.
Hi @Gunivortus
This string belongs to WooCommerce plugin, so you will have to translate WooCommerce by following this guide:
Or contact Multilingual Press plugin support team asking them if they have an option to manually translate a string in another plugin, this options is known as “String Translation” in WPML plugin, I’m not sure if it’s available in any other plugin or not.
Thanks.
