Transitioning from X to PRO (footer widget)

Hello,

We had some custom code in our footer that displayed a “skyline” image when using X. When we upgraded to PRO, we lost the customization. The customization was included in an HTML File, located at

" X – Child Theme: _footer-widget-areas.php (framework/views/global/_footer-widget-areas.php)"

I tried to recreate this file as well as the folders preceding in both the “PRO” and “PRO CHILD” folders, but no luck.

Can someone please tell me where I can create this new file without having to completely redesign the footer? Thank youo

Thanks for writing in!

You will need to relocate the _footer-widget-areas.php file into your child theme’s folder, wp-content/themes/pro-child/framework/legacy/cranium/footers/views/global/. You will have to create the folders since it does not exist on the child theme yet.
