Just curious to what would be the best method for transferring the pages and designs (Header, Footer and page contents) from one install of xPro to a different website that also has xPro installed?
Hello @dmedianik,
Thanks for writing in!
You can transfer it in two methods.
-
You can clone your site like you are migrating from one site to another; https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-content-builder-migration/126/1
-
You can make use of the Template Manager.
- Edit the page and save the layout as a page template.
- In your other site, import the templates, create a new page (or header/footer ) and then apply the template to the page content (or header/footer)
To know more about the template manager, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/template-manager/20364/1
Hope this helps.
In the first link you said, there’s a dead link;
Before we go any further, make sure you have a new WordPress site setup that you want to migrate to, remember this article only covers migrating Cornerstone, it doesn't cover migrating your customizer settings, migrating files and images or migrating any other type of content. You can find more details about migrating that type of content **_`Here`_** < this is supposed to be a link however it doesn't work
PHPMyAdmin and importing your content
For the next step, you'll need to enter your database management tool (normally phpmyadmin) from your hosting control panel. It may be labeled "PHPMyAdmin", "Database management" or similar.
