Transfer License not working

Hello all you cool people.

Hi.
I am trying to transfer 5 licenses to a new user . I also have to register a new account for this user, but I need a license to register :slight_smile: so I also dont really know how reigster the new user

Futhermore I find that it dosent really work to tranfer the license. I tried to test this by using an existing user.

  1. tried to unlock a license from one account and copy the license number.
  2. then login to the new account and click the ‘Register License’ button and paste the code into the space and click the arrow and receive the following message.

Purchase code could not be added to user account: License already exists for this Envato Purchase Code.

Please can you help me?

Thanks for reaching out.

May I know which license you’re trying to unlock? Please provide them in a secure note. But I did check them and they are still locked and you can’t register them to a new account if they are still locked. Please click the lock icon beside the license key to unlock it then register it to the new account.

Hi Rad. Thanx for the quick response :smiley:
I´m afraid to start messing around with sites that are live now- so I testet it by using one of my own licenses that I only use for testing purposes.
What I did:
I tried unlocking one license and then create a new user and then reassign the license. So far so good. Works like a charm.
But when I then try to reassign another license to this new user it does not work .
Will I have to get you guys to do it for me?

  • If so i´ll have to wait untill monday , when i am in a room with my costumer and then I can create a user for them with their email and so on…
    On monday I also can send you the license keys i a secure mail :sunny:

Hello Iben,

Please make sure that the license is unlocked before assigning it to another user. It needs to be unlocked to avoid getting message:

Purchase code could not be added to user account: License already exists for this Envato Purchase Code.

Now, I unlocked all the lisenses that I want to transfer. But I can´t seem to transfer them anyhow. Can u help me ?

Sorry to hear you were unable to transfer them. I’ve gone ahead and moved them manually for you, so now they’re all in the requested account.
