Top Padding / Background colours missing on front end after CS/X update

Hi team,

The new CS/X update has caused the builder to remove the top padding on all sections on posts we updated daily - link attached below. To make matters worse - the Save button is not working.

The CS preview looks correct (as before the update) but front end of the website is totally different.

  • different padding, background colours - all changed in the update? Can we go back one version easily?

We will need urgent assistance to update the restaurant’s daily specials that are live to guests, please.

Less urgent:
how do we move the CS inspector bar back to the left-hand side of the screen?

Thank you,
Dee

Hi Dee,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the browser output and page builder output and didn’t find any differences. If you still finding any, please provide a screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

Thanks

Thank you Tristup - were you able to make the above post SAVE?
desperate for help here, this is a menu that is live to hundreds of restaurant guests every day and we can’t update or SAVE?!

screenshots below show obvious differences… not sure why they are different, they were the same before the update. More importantly, we can’t make any changes and SAVE! “failed to save” over and over…
Other posts and pages are saving but not this one… please help!

Two screenshots here one of the builder and one of the front end:

Furthermore, you missed my original question above about moving the inspector bar.
Please point me in the right direction.

Thank you

Hi Dee,

The screenshot explains the differences, I have checked it again and found that the content in the Headline element is wrapped with the p tag and it is taking the default style of the Stack. I would suggest you remove the p tag from the content and add padding to the Headline element to adjust the space. If you are not able to modify and save the content, there might few different reasons behind it. I would suggest you check by deleting the sections of the page one by one till the issue is fixed, and the last one you have deleted before the fix is the actual issue.
I would also suggest you take a backup of your website before doing it, so you can restore it.

Thanks

Hello @Deesign,

By withdrawing the post, I believe you already have resolved the issue. If the issue still existed, you can let us know.

Thanks.
