Top mobile menu link not working properly

Good morning,

I have just built a site with the latest X theme and Wordpress version. I do not have any unusual plugins, most of which are from the X theme extensions area.

When you make the screen small the mobile menu is visible and when you roll over the icon it changes colour. However when you click it you always have to click twice which is odd.

Then on the second click it slides open and displays all the sub menus too. I have tested on mobile and tablets too and the same thing happens.

Hi Jason,

The double scrollbar is the reason behind your issue and double scrollbar appears if some of the element is taller or similar in height to its container. I would suggest you troubleshoot by deleting the elements one by one till the issue resolves. The last element that resolves the issue is the reason.

Good afternoon and thank you for this. With this in mind I created a new page called demo with nothing on the page apart from one new section with basic text within it.

The error still occurs. I have added the page link in the secure notes

Hi Jason,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We’ve a new point release of X and Cornerstone, please update your theme and plugins to the latest version and see if this resolves the issue. I tested the mobile menu locally and it works fine on my end so this seems to be your setup related issue.

If the issue persists after the update then please check for the following first:

  1. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  2. CHILD THEME
  3. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  4. DISABLING CACHE
  5. DISABLING CDN
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

Oh! I did not see there was a minor update on the theme - this fixed the issue thank you
