Top Menu Mobile Logo-link not functioning

Hi Apex Forum

I have a Website www.brainfire.ch where the mobile Menu variant is not functioning correctly. I mean only the click-link on the Logo «Brainfire» is not working. I KNOW WHY. It’s because of the z-Index I need because the menu on the right is sticky and the rest of the menubar not. That’s why I have 2 Bars: 1 sticky with the navigation Modal on z-Index 991, 1 not sticky with the Logo and background pic. z-Index 990.

As soon as I set a Margin (sides) of let’s say… 300 px (in the Dimensions), everything is working, because the cursor now reacts on the Logo because the bar isn’t overlapping this past. BUT now the right Navigation Modal is also 300 px to the left because the bar is always centered and there is no possibility to set a margin only on one side…

Please help me out in this point, thank you very much.

Hey Patric,

I clicked the links in your mobile menu and everything’s working. Would you mind clarifying what the issue is and please post a screenshot of the area that’s not working.

Thanks.

Hi Christian
… Did you read my question?

I have a Website www.brainfire.ch where the mobile Menu variant is not functioning correctly. I mean only the click-link on the Logo «Brainfire» is not working. I KNOW WHY. Hello @Brainfire,

I am another staff checking in! I have investigated the issue and it appears that the file .../wp-content/plugins/essential-addons-cs/assets/js/eacs-scripts.js which is from Essential AddOns plugin is generating a JS error which might have affected the menu of your site. Please make sure to update this plugin.

The JS error is:

Uncaught TypeError: $(...).countdown is not a function
    at eacs-scripts.js:2
    at eacs-scripts.js:3rd_place_medal:

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi there APEX

I think that you do not read my questions at all, otherwise you would know that I know exactly what the mistake is and that I only look for a small CSS change or I need to know how to set the header … It is not because of any JS scripts and only due to the z-index and the full width of the header-bar !!! Please just read my lines, before you lose yourself in further investigations and JS solutions …

Hi @Brainfire,

I’m really sorry for the confusions!

I’m not another staff and currently still not understanding what’s the issue you’re facing.

Would you mind providing us with a screen recording? We’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Many thanks.
