Top menu link not working on ipad or mobile

I posted this 17 days ago but didn’t respond in time. I did update cornerstone and theme but it is still not working. I need to send a secure note so you can check it out.

I am using X Theme, ETHOS Stack all currently up to date as is my WordPress software.

I have a problem with my main navigation menu in that the Top Line Links are not working on tablets or mobiles. All the sbu links are working fine.

I have tried to see what the problem is by looking at this problem in the Forum but cannot find an answer.

Can you help please?
I followed instructions on this thread, added the suggested CSS code but it is still not working.

Thanks for writing in!

Please go to X > Theme Options > Headers > Miscellaneous and disable the “Topbar”.

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

I disabled topbar and also cleared the cache and the top menu live inspired and about (the two that have sub menus) do not open on my ipad pro. Should I try something else? Thanks, Sheila

Hi @Shelliso,

That is actually an intended behaviour because if you clicked on the parent-menu-item and it navigates, the user will not have the chance to click the sub-menu. One solution to this is to add the “live inspired” and “about” to the sub-menu. This can also be resolve with PRO’s header builder where you can switch to a different menu element when the page is viewed on a tablet devices.
