Top Margin for Blog Feature Image?

I need to create a “white space top margin” between my header/top menu and the feature image on my blog posts so that it aligns with the sidebar (see red ellipse on screenshot below):

How do I do this?

You can add following CSS to have spacing between navigation and left content area:

.x-main.left {margin-top: 35px;}
