Top/Bottom Separators not working in a section

Hi there!

I’m working in cornerstone, and have created a section that has only a revolution slider as its content. I want the section to have a different shape at the top and the bottom, and so have tried to use the top and bottom sliders so that they both have a downwards arrow shape.

I would like for the revolution slider (which should take up the full section), to take on the shape of both the top and bottom separator sections. At the moment I have the bottom separator covering the slider (so it looks like the bottom of the slider moves to a downwards point), but I can’t get the top of the section to do the same thing (have a downward point over the slider).

Are you able to help? Hope I’m being clear! :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi @bradkerin,

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, the separator clipping is only useful for backgrounds (image or color) since it stays behind. It can’t be used to clip the content, it works on bottom separator since it’s still in the same section. But the top separator is in between the previous section (clipping the previous section) and the current section.

It’s not fixable through CSS either, though, I noted the feature you wish to achieve.

Thanks!
