Toolset Blocks & PRO Background Video Issue

Having a problem with a conflict between Toolset blocks and Pro. I’m reaching out to Toolset as well, but wanted to see if there was any insight Themeco could provide.

When Toolset Blocks is installed and active, the background video function no longer works.

  • The video is self hosted, using the full video link to the mp4 file.
  • PHP is 7.3
  • PRO version 3.2.3
  • Attempted to add a video to a second page as well as PRO header with no luck.

Not sure if the conflict is also present on X as I’m only using PRO at the moment, but I have a few older sites on X I can test in a few days.

Please let me know if you would like credentials to investigate further.

Thanks for reaching out.

The theme’s video player that is used for background or video elements is from WordPress’ MediaElement library. If there is a conflict, then it’s probably between that library and toolset.
In that case, I would suggest contacting Toolset support.

Please remember that we don’t offer any support to the issues related to third party plugin.
