Toggle Porfolio Sorting by Date or Title

Hello,
I am wondering if it is at all possible to make the portfolio sort-able by the title of the piece or by the published date. I am working with an artist who has several different works spanning several decades. My client would like to be able to have their latest work at the top of the page, but also make it so the content can be sorted by name to make a specific piece easier to find.

Please let me know what can be accomplished on this issue.
