Titles and other text randomly now in italics

Hi There,

My website yotelecom.co.uk randomly has lots of italic text.

When you arrive at the home page you’ll see the menu in italics, the text above it in italics, and some titles on the page in italics.

These are not meant to be in italics.

You told me to deactivate all plugins, I did this and the text was still in italics.

You also told me to login to the settings of cornerstone and turn off italics. It was already turned off.

What is causing this and how do I fix it?

Hi There,

Could you please navigate to X > Theme Options > Typography > BODY AND CONTENT and check if the BODY FONT ITALIC option is enabled?

It is already off.

This issue has been going on for weeks now I really just need a resolution!

How can you help me?

I’m having the same issue. My settings are exactly the same as my dev site. My dev site has good looking fonts and they are NOT italic. In prod, they are an ugly font and italic.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Hello There,

I have logged in to your site and disabled the font manager. I checked your site again and it is no longer in italic. Please log in to your site, enable the font manage in X > Launch > Options > Typography and make sure that the body and content were not set to have an italic. Test your site again.

X 6.0.3 and Cornerstone 3.0.3 are now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Or can I expect the site to operate as usual after the update?

Hi there,

You will not lose your settings, but it is mandatory to have a backup of your website to be on a safe side.

By the way, we have another minor release so the update should be done for version 6.0.4 of the theme and version 3.0.4 of the Cornerstone.
