Title tag for images

Hello, when I put a picture in cornerstone I can put the alt-tag there. So far, so good. But where do I insert the title tag? In any case, it is not imported from the Media Library. Instead, I only see nonsensical labels in the browser when I move the mouse over an image.

Hi @PeterNicole,

Thanks for reaching out.
You can add the Title value to the Images by clicking into the Images from Media menu item in Admin Dashboard as shown in the given screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hello Tristup,

unfortunately this does not work. As far as I know, it only works for posts. For pages, the title tags seem to be arbitrarily assigned by Cornerstone. For example, if the page is called “controllers”, the images get the title tags “controllers-1”, “controllers-2” and so on.

Kind regards

Peter

Hello Peter,

Sorry for that confusion, You can display the image alt tag attributes only, it is not possible to display the “title” attribute at the moment. You can create custom attributes through the Image element but it will not be rendered on the Image tag. It would render on the “span” tag above the image tag.

Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Thanks for understanding

Hello Prakash,
Thank you for your answer, then it won’t work. I can live with it. I have read that the title attribute is not so important anyway.

Kind regards

Peter
