Timeline & image area

Hi there,

I was wondering if the following techniques are easy to realize with the X theme.

1st: context-sensitive “timeline” at the beginning of the site (maybe via anchor links?)
2nd: image area (revolution slider is no option to my mind)

Please have a look at the URL in the secure note. Is that possible?

Best regards

Hello @knowmates,

Thanks for writing in!

1.) Yes you can make use of menu and insert menu items with anchor links being linked to the sections of the page.

2.) The image area can be done in Cornerstone by inserting a section and a row with 1 column. The row will have only one column and then an image element can be inserted in that column. You can then insert the block grid or insert another row with 4 columns so that you can insert image element in each column.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi there,

1.) I solved that by using the element ‘Navigation Inline’.

2.) My intention is not only to add images to rows and columns. If you click on one of those preview images in that five-column-row that one will be shown in the one-column-row above. Is that possible?

Best regards

Hi @knowmates,

There is no element in Cornerstone that has the same functionality. There is a slider element but it does not have a thumbnail option. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Thanks for understanding. Take care!
