This purchase code has already been registered

So I have another license and I’m trying to create an account for it but it’s throwing this error: “This purchase code has already been registered. You may have an additional account. If you are unable to locate it, contact us with your purchase code and we can take a look for you.” How do I find what account it’s connected to?

Thank you for writing in, that license code is owned by that username below (see secure note). If that account is yours please log in to that account and unlock the license so you can add it to your current account.

If not, please ask the owner to unlock the license from his account so you can add it to your current account.

You can register that license to your current account once it has been unlock.

Well dang. I have some of my clients sites and purchase codes mixed up. I have a site up but dont know what code is being used for it or the apex login. it’s I have the wordpress login but it doesnt show the license in the WP dashboard. Here’s what I had in my docs for that site but clearly it’s not correct because that license is associated with

Thanks for the response but I already have that login. Please re-read the message above yours. The issue is that account using “Email:” for the login isn’t using for production, it’s using I need to find what account is using

I’ve checked this issue and I can confirm that we don’t have a license linked to this domain “”, if you can access this domain WordPress Dashboard, can you see a license added there? can you share the WordPress Dashboard login details in a Secure Note?

Hi Mia,

The issue is that you’re using an older version of X theme and Cornerstone plugin, so that our validation process will not be initiated correctly.

Try downloading the latest version of X theme from your Envato account and re-install it manually. You can delete the current version of X theme and Cornerstone plugin and all your current settings will be saved in the database as well. You can also check the manual update guide available here ( and you can check the latest version numbers from here (

Once you have the latest versions installed on your site, you should be able to validate your site.
