Themeco Woo Checkout Editor - not letting payment process

We have Themeco Woo Checkout Editor installed on a shop. We are just adding 1 single downdown field to the form.

When the plugin is installed our orders are not being processed. We get to the checkout page, put the card information in and submit the order, but it just hangs there.

We disabled the plugin and the orders are placed as expected. I know that I have a previous topic about the plug-in not able to edit the selection field after saving .

Maybe this is related?

There is also this older thread that seems to have a similar issue, but I cant be for certain as its solution/issue is not told.

Seems like the issue might be due to disabling the billing country field. We only sell to US. So we thought we could turn it off. Is there a way to keep the value as US but disable it?
