Hi
I have been scratching my head trying to get a hosted video embeded in the page but it is totally eluding me.
On the Home page itninjas.co.uk I have layout section 1. Which has a background Lower Layer with the link to.

It shows up correctly when looking through the admin console but on the web page in ie and averything else shows as background upper layer.

Firefox developer returns
MEJS media error. Error: "url argument must be a string"

element has no "src" attribute. Media resource load failed All candidate resources failed to load. Media load paused. Source map error: request failed with status 404 Resource URL: http://itninjas.co.uk/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/assets/dist/js/site/cs-body.js?ver=3.4.6 Source Map URL: cs-body.js.map

I have also tried adding a video direct as on http://itninjas.co.uk/about-us
as an embedded video this also failed ith the same error and does not even load the player.

I have managed to get it to work outside Themeco by edit with wordpress posts and edit the M4V File URL and added
http://itninjas.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/WebVideo.mp4 to http://itninjas.co.uk/demo-affiliate-marketing-101-self-hosted-video
This worked but not what I desire.

What am I doing wrong.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for writing in, please swap your background-video and background-color. Place the video on the upper layer so it does not covered by the background-color.

And these errors:



It looks like you placed an Image URL on the Video Source, please paste the Video URL on the Video Source, and the image on the Poster Image.

Hi removed the jpg and left only the video. Moved to upper layer but still no difference.

Also shows on preview as before.

But still getting error

Hey Mark,

I see classes added in the video background’s markup which are not present in my test site where the background video feature is working.

Are you using a plugin that has a lazy loading feature? If so, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If that does not help, please give us WordPress Admin access in a Secure Note

I have no plugins except the default ones that came with wordpress
