Theme X with PHP 7

Hi there,

I am thinking about changing to PHP 7, but first I’d like to confirm that my site/Theme X and its plugins are compatible with PHP 7?

Many thanks!

Hey @Jeypolitan,

Generally, yes. X and its bundled plugins are compatible with PHP 7. But, please note that there might be new features of PHP that might cause issues. So what I’d recommend is, backup your live site and copy it to a staging server and do the PHP upgrade there. Then, test all the features you’re using in your site including PHP 7 features and X and plugins features. When everything is OK, you can upgrade your live site.

Thanks.
