Theme x PRo posts Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response

When I try to update my posts it gives this error: Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

I already disabled all the plugins and everything is updated. Error is still there.

Do you have any idea what the problem is and how I can solve this?

Thanks for reaching out!

I tried to edit the post you’ve mentioned in your secure note and I was able to update it without any issue. This could be just a browser cache on your end, I suggest that you clear your browser cache or use incognito mode when accessing your website.

I’m sorry. I meant that Wix post is the one that I CAN edit because there’s no SimpleTOC block in it. Please try the link I added in the secure note because I can’t edit that one. Also not in incognito.

Hi @djinnie,

I have checked your website and found that the post is editable but the post with the SimpleTOC block is having the issue you described. I would also suggest you check by activating any of the default themes like *TwentyTwenty. If the issue still exists, please contact the Plugin Author on this, and if that does not exist with it, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
