Theme X, Modern Event Calendar, Scroll Behavior

Hey guys, i think I found a bug.
I am using X with MEC, when I click on “Register/Anmelden” It pops up the single event page, then when I click on register it just scrolls down the background not the actual event page. I will add an url so you can see it live.
I already disabled all plugins but the error is still there. When I change the theme to twenty twenty it works and scrolls within the lightbox to the register section.

Can you help me please?

Thanks for writing in! Please be advise that the “Register/Anmelden” button will only work in single event pages. This do not work when you load the single event page in a lightbox because the button event were disabled inside the lightbox. You will have to scroll the lightbox instead to book for the event.

Nope this helps not, because its not true.

  1. On the demo from MEC it works: https://webnus.net/modern-events-calendar/masonry-view-modal/#mec-events-meta-group-booking-7896, click here top right on “A reunion with friends”.

  2. Change the theme to twenty twenty and it works on my website too (you have to click the second event). It only does not work while theme x is activated.

Hey @RSMG,

Thanks for reporting. This might have something to do with our jump link script. I’ll post this in our issue tracker so it would be schedule for investigation and fixing.

Regretfully, there is no workaround so I recommend not using the MEC lightbox for now.

Thank you, I will hide the register-button inside the lightbox with CSS until a fix was released.
