Theme X, footer, colors language selection

Referring to

  1. When hovering/clicking the four links in the footer: Howe do I get the yellow matching to the other links? The footer code specifies HEX Colour #f2d709, nevertheless it appears as kind of orange.

  2. Further I would not like to see the 3 dots between the links changing colors. They shall stays white.

  3. The language selector whitching from German to English and back operates randomly and no longer reliable. What should I do? I recently changed from http to https and choose a higher PHP version.

  4. What do I have to do to adjust the footer to display the english wording when with ENG-Botton is chosen?

Hello Zebra,

Thanks for writing in! Before anything else, please have your Footer Content updated and change it into this:

<p style="letter-spacing: 4px; color: #fff"><a style="color: #fff;" href="" target="_top"></a> • <a style="color: #fff;" href=";" title="Impressum/Dank">Impressum/Dank</a> • <a style="color: #fff;" href="”" title="Widerruf">Widerruf</a> • <a style="color: #fff;" href="" title="Datenschutz">Datenschutz</a></p>

Once you have changed it, we can continue with the other issue. Thanks.

Hello Ruenel,

thank you, appreciated.

Looking forward to your remarks regarding the next steps.

Hello Zebra,

For the hover of the footer link, it seems that you have added custom CSS code or cache style. I would suggest you remove the custom CSS code from the theme options or page-specific CSS.

Or for the quick fix you need to add this CSS code under X—>Theme Option —>CSS

.x-colophon.bottom .x-colophon-content a:hover {
color: #f2d709 !important;

Please feel free to change the hover colour as per your design.

The purpose of providing the custom CSS to show you how to add CSS code to your site. Writing custom CSS is outside the scope of our theme support. If you need more customization, you need to learn CSS and learn how to use the browser’s element inspector.

Hope it helps.

Hello Prakashs,

thank you. I managed to adjust it. Much apprechated.
Would you kindly help me with question 3 and 4?

Best, Zebra

Hey Zebra,

#3.) Are you referring this the flags in your menu navigation?

I have checked the links in it and it goes to the correct language page.

#4.) What plugin did you use to translate the site? There should be an option in the plugin can allow you to translate the footer content.
