Theme X conflict with Calculated Fields Form

Hi,

I have been using Theme X for two years now and some of the latest updates caused my calculators crash. They are created with CFF. The console gives a bunch of JS errors. The calculator is missing all sliders, fields, values etc.

I disabled X and tried with the default theme and the calculator works just fine. Same with CFF’s direct form url, which isn’t affected by any other plugins or theme.

Thank you for writing in, please do the following first:

• Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility)

• Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.

• Test for a plugin conflict. Maybe the issue is not directly with the Theme or CFF, you might have other plugin causing the issue, and the theme and CFF just get affected.

Hi @friech,

Thank you for a prompt reply. All caches cleared and I also tested the other plugins for a conflict but it didn’t make any difference. Everything is also up to date.

Any tips what to try next?

I have checked your website and found the JavaScript error in the browser console. If you have already gone through the troubleshooting suggested by my colleague, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
