Theme x AMP themes?

Google AMP (https://www.ampproject.org/) gets you ranking points in the search engine. I think at some point this will be compulsory and those that dont have AMP will get penalized. I would like to know whether you will be offering AMP themes for theme x and how theme x handles AMP? Some websites that i looked up online had issues with SEO because of the theme they used (unrelated to theme x).

I think it’s case to case basis, like only mandatory for some setup. I’ll add this to our issue tracker as a feature request.

We have no timeline for this. For now, you can try third party AMP plugins or build your own.

It would be very desirable to include this AMP support as a mobile option.
Lot of us are looking for this in the PRO theme.

Im on theme x so I would prefer having in on theme x. Another thing I mentioned in other topics is to also review above the fold scripts, mainly from cornerstone. It will drastically improve the performance of the themes.
