Theme Validation not working with WP Engine

Hi team!

I’ve been struggling to get validation for pro. I recently copied my development site to my live site. When I go through the validation process for Pro, I get the notification that it worked but then the page refreshes and it says it did not work. I’m hosting with WP Engine. Could you help me get the validation working?

Thanks for reaching out.
There might be a few different reasons for this issue, I would suggest you go through the common issues related to the Product Validation

1. Location Issues
2. Communication Error Messages

I would also suggest you contact your Hosting Service provider as mentioned in the above link along with the points given.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Admin URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

@speilman — we also host our sites on WP Engine and have run into this problem in the past.

Have you tried clearing your site’s cache?

You can also clear a specific URL’s cache by going to Settings > Cache Settings:

Then scroll to the very bottom you would put the URL of you want to clear from the cache (including admin URLs), click Verify URL, then a “Purge Path” button will appear!
