Theme Update from 4.5.2

Hi, my x-theme version is 4.5.2 and I see you’re now at version 8.3.3. How do I make the update? Can it mess up my design? My site is www.unidosporisrael.com.br. Thanks!

We would highly recommend that you create a staging site. The staging site is very useful because you can test drive any X updates in the staging area, do the customizations and troubleshooting without disrupting your live site. Once everything is perfect, you can easily and flawlessly proceed with the update on the live site. To know how to create a staging area, please check out these articles:

Thanks! And how do I upgrade it? Can’t find an upgrade button on the x-theme dashboard on my WP install.

To update the theme you need to go to your WordPress Dashboard —>Appearance—>Theme —>Click on the update button. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Please note you must clear all the cache so that the latest code renders properly
