Theme options, Header ect, not working

I just installed x theme pro on a new clients website (nicolerieder.ch). I downloaded the latest version from my dashboard and when I went to the theme option it at first showed that it could not load the page on the right and after that a blank page.

As the latest update had crashed my own page (never0815.ch) only last week, I deleted the theme again and downloaded the older version. This one is kind of trapped in a loop while loading. The images are repeating themselves for minutes…

I’m really upset, because I use your theme now for many years and it hasn’t caused so many problems in the first 3 years put together then in the last 6 month alone. As I do this for clients later updating their websites themselves, I will have to search for an alternative if this keeps going on, as they will not be able to cope with these kind of problems

I looked up at the firewall of the hosting, as this has blocked parts of your themes backend in the past (since 2021 updates) and it had blocked something, but I deactivated it before I tried the older version, so this can no longer be the cause.

Please tell me that is not a general problem… Support Login can be provided.

Hello Michaela,

Thank you for the very detailed information. I have logged in and tested your Theme Options. It keeps on redirecting or reloading the page. This could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Testing for Plugin Conflict
Theme Update
Child Theme
CSS/JS Customization
Increasing PHP Memory Limit
Disabling Cache
Disabling CDN

And also, please go to WP Dashboard, Tools > Site Health > Information > Server. Please updated your PHP version. Increased the maximum upload filesize and the post max size to at least 32M or 64M.

Thanks a lot for the fast help. This hosting drives me nuts, every installation has different settings, the last months all the max size ect were perfect and now they are off again. Changed them.

It seems to be one plugin, that’s causing the loop - WP-Copyright-Protection by dave.ligthart, it’s deactivated. I just updated to the latest version and it works so far.

I have the same plugin on most of the page I made, including the one that crashed during the update last week. I will deactivate it and try again tomorrow. As it’s 2.19 am over here, I need some sleep

Do you have an alternative for right click protection, that works securely with x theme? I really need one at least for my own pages as I’m a photographer…
