Theme clash with Royalslider plugin

Hi,

For some reason the slider (Royalslider) at my site (URL sent below) is not visible on mobile devices. If you view on a wide screen and shrink the window it is OK, but if you open it from a small screen/device it doesn’t load. The plugin owner has said it is due to a clash with a theme script. Are you able to assist?

Alex

Hello Alex,

Thanks for writing in!

I have checked your site and I am not seeing any slider on the page when viewing your site on a large screen. Can you please provide a screenshot or at least point us to where we can see the slider?

Cheers.

Hi - the slider is the bit attached. Hover on the right or left and the slide arrows appear.

If you open the site on a mobile device, the slider is blank. I think it’s a resizing issue?

Hello Alex,

This could not be coming from the theme scripts. Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi,

There are no third-party plugins, except the slider plugin.

Details sent via secure note.

Thanks for your help.

Hey Alex,

I have resolved your issue by editing your page. The text element where you have inserted the Royalslider shortcode needs to have a width of 100%.

Please check your site now.
