Were ok before upgrading cornerstone today?

Sometimes the only screenshot doesn’t help us to recognize the issue you are having. We need to examine your site to check what is the cause of your problem.
Can you please share the page URL and provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

It seems that the text part of the button is not rendering, can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

don’t see the key button here to make it secure and need an email to give you assess on wp?

Hi Amin,

We can see the issue in your website home page, but need to investigate by logging in to get into the actual cause, and that is why we need the login credentials. If you can’t find the key icon in your current reply, you can post it into your previous reply too.

Unfortunately, there is no login details or other credentials found in the secure note. Can you please check and make sure that you have provided all the details in the secure note only.

Hi Amin,

I found that you are still using the older version of the X theme whereas the Cornerstone is already updated. The issue could happen due to the version incompatibility with the CornerStone builder and Theme you are using it has been found that you are using the X Theme with the version of 6.3.8 and the current version is 7.2.3, whereas the Cornerstone is updated to the latest version. I would suggest you update the X theme to 7.2.3 and check once again.

If that does not resolve the issue, please send the correct credentials to check once again.

ok, cant see where to update the X theme?

I made some modifications to the child theme, if i update the theme will it over write my changes in the child these as this may cause more issues?

Hi Amin,

You can update it from Appearance > Themes by clicking on the Update Now link. If that is not available, please download the updated theme from your themco account dashboard or envato account and update it manually. Updating the theme will not affect any code written into the child theme. It has been strongly recommended to use the updated theme and plugins always to avoid any incompatibility issues.
Still, I recommend you take a backup of your database and the files before you update it. So if anything goes wrong, you can restore it from the backup.

I have backups, think i have another local issue as when i click the update button it does not update?

Hi Amin,

As per our Support Policy, we only support any issues that are related to our theme and extensions. Updating the theme is beyond the scope of our theme support.
