Theme broken, need advice for restoring settings, plugins etc

Hi There,

I was contacted to repair a site that was built with X (not by me) and that was broken. I managed to get the site up on my own webspace using a new install of X (https://creatour.extrabrandt.de/credo).

There were a bunch of plugins installed on the original site, probably some X extensions as well, none of which I have installed right now, because I’m guessing that some of them might have caused the problem in the first place.

What I’d like to know if there is a way of finding out what extensions, settings, plugins etc the original theme was using so I can recreate the original install and maybe find out what exactly caused the issue.

I have migrated that database, and I have access via ftp.

Thank you,
B

Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for reaching out.

There isn’t a definitive way to identify this issue other than activating the plugins one by one and checking if any of them break your site. The last plugin you activated before it breaks could be the cause of the problem. Please also keep in mind that sometimes multiple plugins together may cause conflicts.
Before starting this process, I recommend taking a full backup of your site so you can restore it if anything goes wrong. Additionally, make sure all your plugins are updated to their latest versions to minimize potential issues during activation.

If that does not helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Pease note that we don’t investigate any throd party plugin or custom coding issues.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
