Theme Admin Broken

The 3.23 version was also broken I upgraded to 4 and same issues. Header and footer builder not functional.

Thanks for reaching out.

Accessing the wp-admin gives us an error. I suggest that you will enable your WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php by setting the value from false to true so that we can able to trace what causing the issue of the critical error on this website.

I’ve searched for a solution on your theme developers forum (https://theme.co/forum/) but all threads either have no solution or end on a request from developers to share login details. And it seems to be usually happening after updates/upgrades to the paid version.

I have updated all the files again from the pro package zip. See attached.

Hi @verobeachmarketing,

It sounds like you might have updated via FTP. This can be problematic because if a file is renamed or moved, the original won’t get deleted. I would recommend fully deleting Pro and reinstalling. The best way to update manually is via the WordPress theme uploader. In recent WP versions they allow you to install the same theme again and let you overwrite the existing theme. They do this in a way that keeps the integrity of the new theme files.

I have always used FTP. I have never done this via the admin. I will look in to this and report back.
