The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete - On home page only

Hi Everyone, great product and awesome support. But Im a tad stuck…

I’m using the X Theme and I get this error when I try to edit existing pages…

I’ve tried all the recommendations and went through the many support pages on this issue but Im still stuck.

• Enabling the WordPress debug mode didn’t reveal anything.
• I am using the Parent Theme
• There are no known conflicts with any of the plugins. - I have no additional plugins installed
• We are using PHP version 7.1.x
• Our PHP memory limit is 512M.
• We’ve cleared all browser caches and tried private browsing mode but it still doesn’t work.
• Creating a new page seems to work okay.

The error is only appearing on my Home page. http://gaultengineering.com/

Hello Gareth,

Thanks for writing in! I have investigated your issue. I found out that this is because you have index.htm in your root directory.

This is also why you are still seeing your old site:

If you are not ready to make your WP powered site live yet, please go to Settings > Reading and set the “Your homepage displays” to just “Your latest posts”. You can then go back to Pages, and edit the “Home” page with Cornerstone.

Once you are done with editing your pages, you will need to rename the index.htm to something else first so that the WordPress index.php will be used by your hosting server when viewing the Site URL. You must login to your Cpanel and go to the File Manager and browse to the “public_html” folder. That is where you’ll gonna find the index.htm file.
