"The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete" error

Hi,

After creating a new page I was met with this error. It mentions that it might be due to plugins however after updating all of my plugins (all of which worked just fine prior to the error), the error still appears. How can I solve this?

Hello @SmartStartNetworksInc,

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be an issue of plugin conflict. I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Css/Js Customization
  6. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  7. Disabling Cache
  8. Disabling Cdn
  9. Permalinks
  10. Version Compatibility

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP Details

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Hi thanks for responding,

I went through the steps like you said and discovered that the child theme is currently whats causing the issue. Initially I created the child theme for the purpose of better utilization and integration of the Groovy Menu plugin that I currently have installed. Is there any way to clear this error while still using a child theme?

Hello @SmartStartNetworksInc,

What is added in your child theme? A quick hack could be by doing the following:
1.) Go to Appearance > Themes and switch to the parent Pro theme.
2.) Go to the Pages > All Pages and select page to edit.
3.) Edit the page with the Content Builder
4.) Save your changes
5.) Go back to the Appearance > Themes and switch back to your child theme.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know how it goes.
