The preview could not load due to the iframe being incomplete

Hi there. I’m trying to access cornerstone to edit my blogs but I keep getting the error message: “The preview could not load due to the iframe being incomplete . This is most often related to a plug-in conflict, or customizations introducing a PHP error.”

I have looked everywhere online and tried all suggestions but nothing is working out. I haven’t made any changes to the site in the weeks I haven’t uploaded anything there only to get this message today. Please help

Hello Gav,

We could not log in. It seems that you have hidden the login URL.
Please send it to us in your next reply.

Thanks.

Hi Ruenel.

I’m currently having that issue looked into by my hosting company. I’ll get back to you as soon as its sorted

Thank you, Gav. We’ll continue checking once that’s resolved.

Hi there!

The login issue has been resolved. You should be able to access my site now

Hey Gav,

I tried to login but I also see the same error (see screenshot)

The error above shows that there is a fatal PHP error which stopped the rendering of the website and you need to follow the steps below:

  • Enable the WordPress debug mode. You might be able to see an error message on the site right away. If not, the error log could reveal where the problem is originating.
  • If you’re using a child theme, try switching to the parent theme to see if that makes a difference. The conflict could be in your customizations.
  • Test for a plugin conflict by disabling all third party plugins except the Cornerstone plugin if you use X. IF the problem is fixed, activate the plugins one by one to find the plugin responsible for the problem.
  • Make sure that you use PHP version 5.6.x or 7.1.x or 7.2.x. Contact your hosting service provider to make sure that you do not have an old version of the PHP.
  • Make sure that you increase the PHP memory limit to at least 512M. Follow the steps mentioned here for more information.

Let us know how this goes!

I enabled the debug mode in Wordpress and it gave me a log that reveals where there is an issue.

How do I proceed from here?

Hello Gav

It seems that the errors are not coming from our theme, It is coming from the wp-config.php file and pluggable.php that is WordPress core file. I would suggest you contact your hosting provider and ask them to assist you with the issue.

Please note that we don’t provide support to any hosting-related issue. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding
