The page flickers extremely while editing footer in cornerstone

Hello guys

Something strange is going on in cornerstone.
When I try to edit a footer, the main page flickers like hell. The footer is steady, but after a min I feel like being in a vertigo.

I’m checking the plugins at the moment, but I’m like 80% through and none has any effect on this issue.
No CND utilized
Cache Plugin is OFF

When I’m editing a page all’s OK.

Hi Ondrej,

The WordPress login URL is also a password protected page, can you please share that password to get the login form.

Thanks

Oh, didn’t expect you to be so quick.
Maintenance mode is off.

There is a big issue with the borlabs cookie plugin. It might be necessary to deactivate this plugin before you fire up cornerstone. Otherwise you may get this “can not be previewed because of …” error. You can edit the content via toolbar though, you just don’t know where you are exactly, if you’re not the “creator”

Kind regards.

Hey there,

I deactivated the borlabs plugin but I still get the error. Please guide us how to load the Cornerstone without an error and/or deactivate plugins that affect Cornerstone.

Thanks.

this is strange. I can edit the footer here.

cornerstone -> main footer…

maybe a cache issue. There is a cache plugin installed. Seraphinite accelerator. In the manager you may delete the cache eventually.

Hello @VRANKOVINA,

I tried to access your site dashboard, but it logs me out immediately after logging in. It might be an issue with the cache or a plugin conflict. I would suggest you please disable all the cache plugins or copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note, including:

  • WordPress Site URL & Login URL
  • WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath your posts.

Thanks for understanding

Hello prakash_s

I have a staging site, but here I can’t reproduce the issue. So it will take time to clone the live site to a new place. The number of files is the limit here. I can’t simply clone the site with wp-staging plugin. What bothers me the most, is that you can’t enter the live backend. I can do this with your credentials here without any issues.

I’ll report as soon as I’m ready with the clone.
Cheers

Hi Ondrej,

Thanks for the update — we’ll be here and ready to assist as soon as the clone is set up. Just let us know when it’s ready.
