The navbar comes down

The navbar on the site looks allright on first sight. but once i scroll down and then go back to the top ( sometimes not the first time) the navbar comes down and hides the widget top on the sidebar and a portion of my social media icons

It did solve the problem - to an extent
the navbar comes down - but the social media icon or title doesnot get cut
just the title of the widget on the right side bar is cut - i can live with that

One more problem ; I wanted to change the font of the body text.
i had started with a 14 px ; later changed it to 18px tahoma font
it looks ok on a desktop
but not so on mobile
it is huge
is it possible to change it to a little smaller on mobile -without going back and changing the text on all the posts through text editor
I also wanted to change the font to montserrat font from the current tahoma
i tried to change the font and size through theme options - i donot seem to be able to make it change.

when i try to change the body text font in the custimiser the sidebard widget font gets changed as well as the title - the body text is the same

Please remove the previous CSS and try adding with this custom CSS instead:

body.x-navbar-fixed-top-active .x-navbar-wrap {

}

Please try this custom CSS also:

@media (max-width: 480px){
    .entry-content.content {
        font-size: 14pt;
    }
}

I have this code in the global css tab
but the navbar still goes down some 1/2 inch.
with your code the cresta social icons are overlapping and can be seen; but the recent posts on the side bar is hidden.
what i want is - i want the top header with the logo and menu to be fixed, whatever it is called - whether i am scrolling down or going back after scrolling down ( now what happens is when i scroll down and then go back to the top the nav bar comes down floating some 1/2 inch down from the top ) hope you understand my problem ?

Hello There,

  • Please go to X > Theme Options > Header > Navbar and make sure that you have set the “Navbar Top Height” is set to 80 pixels.

  • After making all the changes, since you have installed a caching plugin WP Comet Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
