The Grid with Facebook media

Hello,

I’ve tried multiple ways of connecting my grid to my Facebook public page, to have it look like this:

I’ve tried creating a Facebook app to get the API ID, the App Secret, but it says I need to submit it for review and for that I need to upload a video of an example of a user login into my app (what the hell? ).

Then I tried using an album ID, but I get the same message as always:

“You didn’t authorize The Grid to connect to Facebook.”

Which takes me to the global settings and in there the only thing that relates to Facebook is the section with the fields for the Facebook App ID & Facebook App Secret. And such is the loop.

Has anyone been successful at using this feature? Please help! Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks for writing in.

Perhaps you can contact a Facebook developer? I have no issues with Facebook API and App Secret. And yes, you need to authorize your site first.

All I did is created an app, apply valid privacy and terms URL and turned it live. Could you try that, or have you added new product category? Or toggled on the native desktop app setting? You shouldn’t.
