I am struggling to find where to get support on using the Grid plugin?

There is a message on the main section of the grid plugin in Wp admin saying the following:
“This is an exclusive deal for X users only. Your validated X license unlocks all features of The Grid including the skin builder. Updates are distributed automatically by Themeco as well as support provided in our forum.”

Can you tell me where or how to access their support please?

Then why does the statement explicitly say that they provide support for x users in their forum?
I cannot find a forum for them anywhere - are they still trading?

ok, so I have a few questions:

  1. How do you make some post images appear at a larger size / allow certain posts to take up a double / quadruple size space? e.g. https://theme-one.com/the-grid/dacca/
  2. Why are some of the skins not editable in the skins editor? e.g. Dacca does not allow you to customise it’s skin in the skin builder.

Hi there,

Maybe it’s just a typo error, it’s maybe their instead of our. Plus, you really need to buy a license from them to get direct support and updates.

  1. In your grid type, you have to select Justified instead of Masonry or Grid.

  1. Some default skins are not editable, it’s made that way. You’ll have to recreate it if you wish to customize it or choose another skin that you can edit.

  1. I am using Justified as my grid type, but am still strugging to display certain posts at a larger size.
    How do you tell the Grid which ones to enlarge?

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! You can’t dictate which item should be wide or should be narrow. The width of the grid items will depend on the contents. In this case, you may have inserted the same image sizes. The grid items will only be wider if your image width is wide. To resolve your issue, go to the Media and select “Original Size” as the image size and please do not forget to insert some wider or different image widths.

This is still not working for some reason. I’ve made some of the images twice the hight and made sure that ‘Original size’ is on but they are all still displaying at a uniform height rather than taking up double spaces.

Is there something else that makrs out certain posts to be larger than others?

Hey @eyetooth,

The layout that you want is possible with either Grid or Masonry type.

To change the item size, you must edit your item source, in your case the portfolio item. Scroll down until you see The Grid section and edit the Item Size.

I changed one of your post to demonstrate what I mean.
