The Grid Skins are gone

Hi there,
I used “The Grid” on several pages and modifiyed the default skins. At least on one site there was an automatic update of the plugin - after this, the look of the grid elements changed dramatically. I now realised, that the skins I chose for the grids have gone.
What can I do to have the grids looking as before?

Hi Uli,

Unfortunately, the said plugin named The Grid is no longer a Bundled Plugin and does not come under the support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you on this or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Hi tristup,
does that mean, that - without any announcement - a feature of my PRO theme has gone and I now have to pay money to get my site back to the look it had before?
I do understand that bundeled plugins may change and that you don’t support plugins, that are not bundled. But I hope you will provide a solution or a help for all the grid-users how to solve this. I don’t know how many pro users were working with “the grid” and using skins. But all of them will now have the same problem.
I gues it has to do with the fact, that you need a paid version of grid to use skins. So I (or my clients) now have to pay at least 50$ for each of my sites to keep things working as before.
I hope theme.co will find a way to offer some help or at least a workaround.

Hi Uli,

We have stopped distributing The Grid plugin as a bundled plugin from the October 2021, and it was notified multiple times during that time. I would suggest you revert back to the last working state, which is the only solution.

Hi tristup, thank you for making clear. Can you tell me where this was notified? Probably I’m not subscribed to the correct newlsetter …
