The Grid skin custom background color and text color not sticking

Hello

I am using an instance of The Grid on http://www.motherculture.love and I have set a skin called ‘contributor grid’ - in the settings for this skin I have set a custom background and text color and even have checked the OVERRIDE buttons however the skin still displays with the default colors

What is preventing the custom colors from showing properly?

Please let me know the best way to fix this

Hello Jared,

Thanks for writing in! After saving your changes, you might have experiencing caching issues. Since you have installed a caching plugin WP Fastest Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site. It is best that you temporarily disable it as of this moment.

I don’t think it’s the caching plug-in because even within the preview mode of THE GRID it does not show the changes to the background and text color.

Are you sure that is what is causing the issue? Can you please double check and see if you can get it to work?

It appears that you haven’t change or saved your changes because there is no custom background in the Contributor grid skin.

And also I am confused because your Welcome grid does not use the mentioned grid skin. In which grid did you use this grid skin and what is the url of the page with the grid that uses contributor grid skin can I find it?
