The Grid - Skin Builder - How to activate

Hi there,

I’m trying to use THE GRID-s built-in lightbox functionality on my site. Thing is, I can’t activate the skin builder. I’m using version 2.3.5 of The GRID.

Any ideas how to work around the issue?

Hi there @Pbalazs89,

Unfortunately the Skin Builder in The Grid is only available if you have a registered license of the plugin. The functionality is locked for themes that bundle the plugin.

@Jack, this is from The Grid overview page in the admin:

This is an exclusive deal for X users only. Your validated X license unlocks all features of The Grid including the skin builder. Updates are distributed automatically by Themeco as well as support provided in our forum.

The skin builder is available for Themeco customers

Thanks for updating in! We apologized for the confusion. I can confirm that The Grid’s skin builder should be working even if you do not have a license for TheGrid plugin. You may access it in The Grid > Skin Builder (http://prntscr.com/fv5d4c). The current installed version in your site may have some issues. Please make sure that you are using the very latest version of the plugin. The latest compatible one with X is version 2.4.0.
