**The Grid** search / ACF / Again!

Hello Themeco-Team,
is it possible to have the The Grid search return Custom Meta Fields generated with ACF?

–> i had this ticket before but it was closed during my vacation, sorry

As my colleague runel says that the default WordPress search uses the post title and post content to find the matching keyword.
And you can show the meta values in your single portfolio post page content.

My Answer: —> Ok, but the problem is not the default Wordpress search. It´s the The Grid– Search. It´s also only searching the Title…but not the Meta fields i use with ACF.

Hey @cyrock,

The Grid’s search functionality is not feature-rich so it could not search inside meta fields. There’s also nothing in the plugin’s documentation mentioning how the Search filter works.

Regretfully, you’d need to consult with a 3rd party developer if you wish to connect The Grid’s search to ACF fields as we don’t have a documentation on that.
