Hello @intelektual,

Thanks for asking.

Yes, Facebook deptriciated bunch of API’s. More information can be found of the following page.

https://www.instagram.com/developer/changelog/

Today we have released update for The Grid Plugin 2.6.1 and that should fix the problem you are facing. Please update The Grid Plugin and let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hello @Prasant,
thanks for reply. Still no update available in my installation - any other way how to get it, please?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,

Is it not available when you click this button?

Would you mind giving us URL and credentials inside a secure note so we can double check credentials?

Hello @Lely, I see “1” next to the circle but after clicking it the WP update page says that everything is up-to-date and no updates available. Also, The Grid plugin states that it is up-to-date…

Hi There,

The current version of the plugin is grid 2.6.1, but your site using a lower version.
Can you please send us your website details so that we can have a look why you are not getting the error.
Meanwhile, you can check for any plugin conflict or you can try deleting the plugins and reinstall it.

Please provide following information:
Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials
    All the best!

Hello @basanta, thanks for reply, deactivated The Grid plugin and immediately an update notice appeared. Updated The Grid but still no-go - same message in the front-end :frowning: Could you, please, have a look at it?
Thanks VERY much!

Tom

Hello @intelektual,

Thanks for updating the thread.

Looking at the website I can confirm that you are using The Grid Plugin version 2.6.1 which happens to be the latest version. However, I do see the error message showing up on the home page.

Can I suggest you something? Can you please confirm you are using correct ID or may be ID has changed perhaps and that it has the necessary permissions to access? You can take a look at following tutorial to find out group Id.

Having said that while trying to login into the backend of your website I am asked to enter site credentials. I tried entering the same login details but it’s not working. Can you please share site login details in a secure note? If it’s possible for you to get the FTP details, that’s even better as it will help to to take a look more closely.

Thanks.

Hello @Prasant,
thanks for writing. I have checked the group ID and it is correct and it has not changed.
However, I have no idea about the “site credentials” you write about. I have checked the WP login information and it is correct. Could you please send me a screenshot? Will ask the client to send me FTP access.
Thanks very much

Hi there,

Regardless of The Grid plugin, if your Facebook API permission or revoked or the Facebook app is deleted, it still not gonna work. You’ll have to check your Facebook app API and permission, please check this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13739609/unsupported-get-request-in-facebook-graph-api

This is not The Grid issue but your Facebook app setting.

Thanks!

Hello @Rad,
don’t think this is the problem (in fact much more likely I am missing something) - the app is “live” and already 13+ restricted - see file attached.

Hi there,

I just tried on my installation and works well so it’s not plugin related. But can’t confirm it since I’m only limited to the provided information. And we can’t check your Facebook app settings either. Perhaps you can provide a dummy Facebook developer account assigned to that app, then we can check it.

Thanks!
