The Grid - open only images related to a gallery post and not ALL images

I have tried contacting the developers of The Grid for a solution to this but they have referred me back to you:

"For any question or issue, please contact the theme author directly. He will handle support for 3rd party plugins included with the theme.

If you need direct support as well as automatic updates in the backend, you can purchase a plugin license. With a valid purchase code of the plugin you will be able to have support."

Apparently they have a custom Javascript solution to stop ALL images from opening in the lightbox when clicking on one thumbnail in the grid. I would like only the images relating to that particular gallery/portfolio post to open in the lightbox. They are apparently not willing to share this solution with customers who got The Grid as part of a theme.

Can you help, please?

Hey @wizard247,

Regretfully, that custom code is considered an Addon by The Grid developers so if you wish to use it, you’d need to purchase a standalone license from them

If we do this, that means that we will custom code a solution which is not a part of our product support.
