The Grid Functions.php

Hello there,

Not sure if you can help me with this and also I couldn’t find anything in the older archives of this forum but I thought I’d try.

I recently created a recent posts grid with “The Grid” Plugin I would like to add to my functions.php file in place of my slider revolution.

Is there any way I can be pointed in the right direction to find the custom code to add to my functions.php file?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t clearly understand your issue. Why do you want to add your The Grid Plugin in the functions.php? Can you explain it further so that we can help you with your issue?

Hi thanks for replying so quickly,

I created a featured posts grid with “The Grid” and want to add it to my homepage below the header. I did this for a slider I created with “Slider Revolution” which displayed recent posts but would like to change it.

Hi Thomas,

I suggest that you deactivate your Revolution Slider by clicking to the gear icon.

Then go to Slider Settings Below Masthead

Then add your The Grid Plugin using the Classic The Grid plugin in your first section on your homepage.

Hi,

I don’t believe I have this option due to not having X Pro, I’m not seeing these options after clicking the gear icon. It’s not a problem if this is outside the scope of support l I understand. Does upgrading to X Pro enable content to be added to the Mastodon as simply as shown above? If so perhaps I should upgrade.

Hi Thomas,

Sorry for the confusions, if you are using the X theme, you can have the same option in the Page Settings inside each page. If you haven’t added the Slider through the page settings, then you may need to remove the section with the slider and add the Grid in place of that.
Just remember that you replace the slider with the grid in the same section to see the grid in place of the **slider.
