The Grid Filter Logic problem

Hi
I am making a Portfolio list with the Grid plugin
I added 3 Categories( and All too) on it named
Cognitive
Motor
Other
I would need to see it in a separate way, for example
If the user Click “All” can see the 8 Entradas
Please see the picture

If the user Click “Cognitive” can see the 3 Cognitive Entradas
Is the user Click “Motor” can see the 3 Motor Entradas
If the user Click “Other” can see the 2 Other Entradas
Unfortunate it is not working well, for example
If I click the All option, I see All the Entradas. It is working Ok.
Ii I click the Motor option after the All option. I see the Motor Entradas. It is working Ok.
If I click the Cognitive option after the All option. I see the Cognitive Entradas. It is working Ok.
If I click the Motor option after the All option. I see the Motor Entradas. It is working Ok.
Please see a picture like an example

My problem is when I click the Motor, Cognitive and Other options without click the All option and I see Motor, Cognitive and Other options together
Please see the picture

For that reason, Could you help me to fix it?
Hopefully, you can understand me
Thanks for your support
Regards
Alejandro

Hello Alejandro,

I have logged in and I can replicate the issue going on. Can you please update the Grid plugin to version 2.7.9? Please go to the Plugins section. Temporarily deactivate TheGrid plugin so that you can update it. Make sure that your WP core, theme, and all other plugins are up to date as well.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi @ruenel
I did what you told me and updated the Grid plugin to version 2.7.9 and other plugins too and unfortunate the problem is not fixed yet.

Hello Alejandro,

This is actually not an issue. The filter combination works that way.

AND - Shows elements that meet all selected filter
OR - Shows elements that meet at minimum one of the selected filters

On page load, all the items are displayed. As soon as you click on any of the filters, the grid items get filtered out according to what you have clicked in the filter. It is working as expected because as you click on the “A” filter, it displays all the “A”. As soon as you click the “B” filter, “B” items get added to the display since your logic is “OR”. If you do not what to see “A” items when selecting the “B” filter, simply disable the “Filter Combination” option instead.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi @ruenel
You are right.
Thanks for your explanation about the Filter logic. Sorry my ignorance
I disabled the Filter Combination option and it is working well now.
