"The Grid" extension like button registers a like on every article at once

Hi there

I am using “The Grid” to organise a section of articles. The skin I am using features a “like” button (with a heart icon). Whenever this button is pressed for any article it registers the “like” on every single article. Similarly if pressed again on any article it de-registers the like on every single artlice.

Can you advise me if this is a known bug and/or if there is a fix for this?

Thanks for writing in! Can you confirm that you are using the latest version?
Our latest version is:
X: 5.1.1
Cornerstone: 2.0.6
The Grid: 2.3.5

I would recommend that you update to the latest version to prevent any issues when using older versions. If the problem persists, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Yes, it is a conflict with WP Download Manager, specifically their “User Reviews” plugin. We are already considering replacing this as it has caused other issues. So another nail in the coffin there it seems…!
