The Grid - elements activated on hover

Hi,
I’m trying to create a custom skin where the link icon and circle background only appears on hover, although it’s working correctly on the preview within the grid skin editor, its not showing the same animation on the page. Please have a look at what I have currently on http://johnbarilaro.com.au/electorate-news-build-blocks/

Also is it possible to put padding around the search and filter bars to give the grid a bit more space?

Hi,

To add spacing after filter bars, you can add the code below in X > Launch > Options > CSS

#grid-1562 .tg-grid-area-top1 {
    margin-bottom: 40px;
}

With regards to animation,would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Thanks Paul, we found that by applying the padding in the grid composer we achieved the result we were after too. And if you select the important option in the skin builder you can get the animation to perform as required. But there is something we would like your help on. With the setting up of the filters we are wanting to achieve an archival system
At present we have added the months to the categories list which has allowed us to build a filtering list as demonstrated. But can the grid plug in filter a grid from publication dates?

It’s good to know that you have made progress and able to achieve what you want to display in the grid. And yes the grid plugin can display grid items according to publication dates. Simply add “Order By” and select Date. For more information, please check out this documentation:
