The Grid Displaying strangely in Safari

Hi there,

We’re finding that Safari on desktop is displaying the grid in a strange way (no image, and words running down the page vertically). Chrome and mobile Safari appear to be fine.

url in the secure note.

Please let us know how to get around this.

I just found that changing the global setting of JS resolved this.

However we are having another issue, that even though the grid is set to 3 columns in the settings, it is only displaying 1. How can we get it to 3 columns?

Hello @lifehouseglobal,

Thanks for writing in!

I see a under construction page active on your website. Can you please share website login details in secure note for us to take a closer look? Regarding layout changes, is the layout not getting changed in Safari or it’s happening across all browsers?

Please take a look at following URL and try changing the layout again. After making the changes please make sure to clear cache and let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Thanks, I have reply, sorry about that I will put the staging password in the secure note.

I have read the layout settings for The Grid and have used it before on multiple sites, but for now having issues making layout changes. Now any change I make is viewable the same in Chrome & Safari, but can’t get columns of 3 (even though it’s set to 3 columns and previewing that way), instead it’s just centering 1 in the middle.

If you can help us that would be great,

Thanks

Hi @lifehouseglobal,

I see that you added your Grid in a Text element via a shortcode, would you mind removing that and use the The Grid element instead.

If that did not work, please navigate to The Grid > Global Settings and turn on the Include The Grid library globally

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Thanks for that. This seems to of corrected it

We are delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!
