The Grid displayed in columns

Hi there.

Please go to https://nblund.com/test.

You will find two displays - the top one is based on ‘The Grid’ plugin whereas the lower one is based on ‘Essential Grid’ plugin. I would like to display the top The Grid in the same manner as the lower Essential Grid. Unfortunately, I don’t seem to find whereabout in the configuration of The Grid I set display to 4 columns by 1.

Help greatly appreciated … Thanks.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing around! You can set the columns settings under Grid Settings > Column settings please see https://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#grid_settings Also see https://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#layout_settings

Hope this helps!

Hi again.

Grid settings > column settings are already set to multiple columns. Please see attached image. Preview also shows multiple columns. However, when updating the page I see no change.

Next? Thanks.

Hi There,

In that case, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Thanks,

Done (secure note). Thanks.

Hey @nblund,

The Grid will display properly if you insert it inside the WordPress Text Editor.

It breaks when you use inside the Content Builder. The Grid works in my test site though so I suspect other plugins in your site is causing the issue. Please clear all caches and deactivate all third party plugins including your caching plugins then check if the issue persists.

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Thanks for showing that the Grid will display properly if inserted inside the WordPress Text Editor. Unfortunately, that is insufficient… I did deactivate all plugins, except for The Grid itself - and it still breaks when used inside the Content Builder. In other words, no other plugin is the reason why.

Now what? Thanks.

Hi nblund,

Could you please reinstall Pro theme and The Grid plugin, removing both of them manually via FTP then re-uploading them again to make sure there is no corrupted file causing this issue.

Thanks.

Hi guys.

  1. I deleted Pro theme via FTP. 2) I deleted The Grid plugin via FTP. 3) I reinstalled Pro theme. 4) I reinstalled The Grid plugin / extension.

Problem remains.

I noticed that when reinstalling The Grid extension, the skins previously made (before deletion via FTP) were still there? Did I do anything wrong when I deleted the extension?

Thanks.

Hey @nblund,

In this case, please give us FTP access so we could look deeper into this issue.

The skins are stored in the database and uninstalling The Grid won’t delete the them.

Thanks.

Hi there. Info provided in secure note. Thanks.

Hi there,

Please check it again, it’s working since the library for The Grid isn’t loading. With that, I enabled it globally under your grid’s global settings.

Please check your test page again.

Thanks!

Perfect  Thanks.

You’re most welcome!
